Following the conclusion of the main round phase and the group phase of the 24th IHF Men’s World Championship, eight teams have made it to the quarter-finals of the competition, while the 24 others head for the placement matches.

The winners of the quarter-finals on 29 June proceed to the semi-finals on 1 July (all in Berlin).

The placement round 9 – 16 already continues on 28 June in Berlin and Athens and will be completed with the four placement matches on 29 June. The President’s Cup ends on 29 June with the last games in Hanover and Athens.
