Following the conclusion of the 2026 IHF Women's Youth World Championship, where Spain became the new world champions, with a 26:23 win in the final over Montenegro, the All-Star team of the competition has been announced.

Six nations are represented in the All-Star team. All four semi-finalists - Egypt, Denmark, Montenegro and Spain - have players included, joined by Switzerland and People's Republic of China.

Spain’s centre back, Elene Fresco Bastarrika, was named the MVP of the competition, with a stellar all-around performance, scoring 24 goals, dishing 16 assists, but also being fantastic in defence, with eight steals.

Title winners Spain also had Erika Elena Vladu in the best squad as the best right wing, while Montenegro sent the best centre back of the competition, Andrea Dragnić. China's Shuoyan Zhang was selected as the top left back.

Egypt’s right back Malak Aboyoussef was also named in the All-Star team at Romania 2026, as the best right back, with teammate Zeina Kotb also being selected as the best line player.

The top scorer of the competition was the All-Star left wing, Lauryn Mierzwa, who scored 71 goals, two more than China's Shuoyan Zhang.
