2025 IHF Women's World Championship: All-Star team

Following the conclusion of the 2025 IHF Women’s World Championship, the All-Star team of the competition can be revealed.

Players have been selected for all seven positions on the court, with the All-Star team also containing the Best Young Player Presented by LIDL and the MVP and the top scorer of the competition.

Norway’s Henny Reistad – the 2023 and 2024 IHF Female Player of the Year – was named the MVP of the competition, for the second consecutive time, after also earning the distinction at the 2023 IHF Women’s World Championship.

Five nations are represented in the All-Star team – the four semi-finalists plus quarter-finalists Brazil – with Norway and Germany, the two finalists, being the only team with multiple players in the team.

Playing in her final edition of the IHF Women’s World Championship, Norway goalkeeper Katrine Lunde was named in the All-Star team for the second time, after the 2017 edition.

Germany had two players in the All-Star team – left back Emily Vogel and Antje Döll – while France’ Sarah Bouktit was named the best line player of the competition. Co-hosts Netherlands also sent right back Dione Housheer in the best team of the competition.

The only player who did not feature in the semi-finals but still made the All-Star team was Brazil’s centre back – Bruna de Paula Almeida, who had a fantastic performance in the competition, scoring 33 goals.
