Following the conclusion of the preliminary round of the 2025 IHF Men’s Club World Championship, the two semi-finals of the competition have been determined, with the top teams in each group, plus the best second-placed team securing their places in the penultimate act.

According to the Rules and Regulations of the competition, the best winner of the groups, Veszprem HC, was due to meet the best second-placed side, but as the Hungarian side and Al-Ahly were in the same group, Veszprem HC is going to meet the third best group winner, SC Magdeburg. while FC Barcelona are facing Al-Ahly.

The semi-final between Barcelona and Al-Ahly is scheduled for Tuesday, 30 September, at 20:00 EEST, while the match between SC Magdeburg and Veszprem HC, which will decide the first finalist, will be played at 17:15 EEST, in the New Administrative Capital Hall.

Other five placement matches are scheduled for the last three days of the competition, where Zamalek SC and Sharjah SC will meet twice in the Placement Matches 5/6, while Handebol Taubate, the California Eagles and Sydney Uni will decide their final standings at the 2025 IHF Men’s Club World Championship.
