Three European sides, two teams from Africa and one each from Asia, Oceania, the South and Central American Handball Confederation and the North America and Caribbean Handball Confederation each are lining up at the 2025 IHF Men's Club World Championship, with the competition seeing Egypt as hosts for the second year in a row.

Powerhouses like SC Magdeburg and Barcelona, as well as reigning champions Veszprem HC, will be lining up at the start, while other challengers are ready to pounce. Barça are the most decorated team in the history of the competition, with five titles, while Magdeburg are coming with a fantastic streak, winning the three of the last four editions of the competition and finishing as runners-up in 2024.
