Media accreditation is now open for the 2026 IHF Beach Handball World Championship, which will take place in Croatia from 23 to 28 June 2026 at SRC Jarun.

On behalf of the International Handball Federation (IHF), Sportfive, the IHF’s media and marketing partner, and the Croatian Handball Federation (CHF), media representatives are invited to submit their accreditation requests for the competition.

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the official accreditation platform.

The accreditation process is open to representatives of print media, photographers and Non-Rights Holders, as well as radio and television representatives interested in covering the event as Rights Holders.

Requests submitted by Rights Holders will be forwarded by the Croatian Handball Federation to the IHF and Sportfive, who will decide on the status of those accreditations. Requests submitted by Non-Rights Holders will be decided jointly by the IHF and the Croatian Handball Federation.

The deadline for submitting media accreditation applications is 20 June 2026 at 23:59 CET. After the deadline, applicants will receive confirmation of the status of their accreditation via email. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Only applications submitted by professional media workers and active media organisations will be considered.

For accredited members of the written press, photographers and Non-Rights Holders, accreditation permits only the recording of coaches’ and players’ statements in the Mixed Zone after matches, while photographers are authorised to take photographs during matches. Any other form of recording or filming is prohibited unless expressly approved by the IHF and Sportfive.

A Mixed Zone will be organised after each match, while a Media Centre and Media Tribune will be available at Jarun for accredited media representatives throughout the competition.
