Squad changes: Bahrain, Qatar and Egypt make replacements

Player replacements – Wednesday 16 January

Ahead of the penultimate day of preliminary round matches at Germany/Denmark 2019 three coaches have made player replacements

Egypt coach David Davis has made his second player replacement of the 2019 IHF Men’s World Championship, changing line players, with 28-year-old Wisam Nawar coming in for Mohammed Maher. Nawar plays his club handball for Zamalek, and the 1,85m will wear number 25.

Valero Rivera has made his third and final change for Qatar with an exchange of centre backs. Moustafa Heiba from Al Wakra comes in for Kamal Addin. The 22-year-old Heiba stands at 1,84m tall and has scored 52 goals in 147 appearances. He will wear the number 97 shirt.

Bahrain have also made a replacement – their first – with coach Aron Kristjansson bringing in 20-year-old centre back Ahmed Husain. He stands at 1,80m tall, has scored 90 goals in 30 appearances and replaces left back Komail Mahfoodh.
