Squad changes: Bahrain, Qatar and Denmark

Player replacements and late registrations – Saturday 12 January
Following their defeat against Angola in their opening match yesterday, Qatar coach Valero Rivera has made two player replacements with two left-wingers coming in to the squad.
Al Ahli’s Mahmoud Hassaballa comes in, with the 32-year-old replacing centre back Moustafa Heiba, while Al Duhail’s Ahmad Madadi replaces left wing Hamdi Ayed. Hassaballa has played 46 times for his country, scoring 89 times, while Madadi has scored 128 goals in 44 national team appearances.
Nikolaj Jacobsen has also made the first change for co-hosts Denmark, with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg’s right wing Johan Hansen coming in. 24-year-old Hansen, who has played 11 times for his country, with 21 strikes, replaces fellow right wing Hans Lindberg.
Bahrain coach Arron Kristjansson has added 30-year-old pivot Hasan Alfardan to his squad as a late registration after the Asian team registered 15 players at the technical meeting yesterday (11 January). Al Najma’s Alfardan has played 75 times for his nation, scoring 300 times.
