Following Cuba’s win against Cyprus in the final of the 2023 IHF Men’s Emerging Nations Championship (28:18), the All-Star team of the competition has been announced.

Six teams are represented, with Cuba, the winners, providing the MVP of Bulgaria 2023, left wing Hanser Rodriguez Rodriguez, and the best defender of the competition, Lidier Vergara Martinez.

Both Cyprus and Great Britain have two players each in the All-Star team, while hosts Bulgaria, India and Australia, all teams finishing in the top six places, have one player each.

The top goal scorer at Bulgaria 2013 was Great Britain’s Francisco Pereira with 34 goals, who was followed by Cyprus’ Alexandros Charalambous, with 32 goals, and Bulgaria’s Svetlin Dimitrov, with 29 goals.
