How to follow: Portugal 2022

The 2022 World & European Wheelchair Handball Championship (six-a-side) is right around the corner and the IHF will bring the sport and this historic event closer to fans all around the world via its various media channels. 

Nine teams will take part in the World & European Championship, which throws off on 18 November in Portugal and finishes after 26 action-packed matches.

The 2022 World & European Wheelchair Handball Championship (six-a-side) will be staged in Portugal from 18 to 20 November 2022, with Croatia, Hungary, India, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania and Spain vying for glory and the historic first title. The event will be hosted in Leiria and features 26 games.
