2026 IHF Women's Junior World Championship: All-Star team announced

Following the conclusion of the 2026 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship, where Germany became the new world champions, with a 33:26 win in the final over Denmark, the All-Star team of the competition has been announced.

Four nations are represented in the All-Star team, with the teams featuring in the semi-finals – Denmark, France, Germany and Spain - being represented.

Germany’s centre back, Ruslana Litvinov, was named the MVP of the competition, with a stellar all-around performance, scoring 22 goals, dishing 28 assists, but also being fantastic in defence, with 14 steals.

Title winners Germany also had Chiara Rohr in the best squad as the best left wing, while Denmark sent the best right back of the competition, Julie Groth Persson. France’s Dawiya Abdou was selected as the top right wing.

The MVP of the 2024 IHF Women’s Youth World Championship, Belen Rodriguez Lario, was also named in the All-Star team at China 2026, as the best left back, with teammate Kelly Fonkeng Mfotiog, also being selected as the best line player.

The top scorer of the competition was Kirstine Emilie Hoppe, Denmark’s centre back, who was also the best player on her position at China 2026, with 66 goals.
