For the next 12 days, Jinzhong will be the host of the 2026 IHF Women's Junior World Championship, the third edition of the competition with 32 teams at the start, spanning between 24 June and 5 July.

All 32 teams will be in action on the first two days in the preliminary round, with a rest day before the end of this phase of the competition. Then, the main round and the President's Cup will start, with the final week hosting the business end of this edition of the world handball flagship competition for Under-20 players.

Handball fans across the world can follow the event across all four courts via the IHF YouTube Competitions Channel (geo-blocking restrictions will apply for some territories).
