Player changes: France, Hungary

Ahead of the first set of matches in the Placement Round 5-8 and semi-finals at the 2019 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship, France and Hungary have made player changes.

French coach Eric Quintin has swapped goalkeepers, with Paris Saint-Germain’s 1,87m Loick Spady coming in for Charles Bolzinger. The change is France’s first of three allowed in the competition.

Hungary have made their second and third player replacements with coach Krisztian Karpati replacing centre back Gergo Kovacs with goalkeeper Pal Merkovszki. The FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria player stands at 2,00m and has played 32 matches for the national team, scoring four times.

The second Hungarian replacement of the day is an exchange of right-backs, with Lev Szuharev coming back in after he was replaced last Monday, making way for him is Telekom Veszprem’s Bence Papp.
