After all results of the out-of-competition tests conducted by the IHF for the players of the women’s team from Russia were negative, the entries of Russian athletes were reviewed by the IOC Review Panel. 


The IOC decision on the eligibility of the women’s handball team from Russia is as follows:


“Following the completion of this process, including the review of the IHF proposal by an expert from the CAS list of arbitrators, the Review Panel confirmed the eligibility of the 15 Russian athletes.”


Therefore, the whole women’s team from Russia are allowed to take part in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
