The 2015 IHF Super Globe begins today (Monday 7 September) in Doha, Qatar, with club teams from five continents playing for the ultimate international club title.

IHF officials and nominees arrived in Doha ahead of the squads and the final preparations have been completed over the past few days. The IHF referees for the 2015 Super Globe are:

Mohamed Samir Rashed / Tamer Elsayed (EGY)
Majid Kolahdouzan / Alireza Mousaviannazhad (IRI)

Nenad Krstic / Petr Ljubic (SLO)

The teams will play their opening matches tonight – three games will be followed by the opening ceremony and the final match of the day after that. The 2015 edition of the tournament sees a new knock-out format, where the first day of matches are considered the quarter-finals, with the winners of those matches proceeding to the semi-finals.
