SELECT SPORT is Danish and is considered as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hand-sewn balls. The company produces more than 2 million balls a year and exports to a total of more than 50 countries. The primary market is footballs and handballs to teams at all levels, but a large variety of accessories is also a part of the product range.

 SELECT is official ball supplier to all World Championships and Olympic Games thanks to the cooperation with IHF, a cooperation that since its beginning in 2005 has been close and meaningful for both parts. SELECT SPORT was founded in 1947 by Eigil Nielsen, the Danish national football team’s goalkeeper. SELECT and Eigil Nielsen have made some of the biggest milestones in the world of footballs and handballs – among them the invention of the laceless ball and the 32-section ball. All sorts of football and handball tournaments are still played with balls based on Eigil Nielsen’s 32-section principle - just as all the balls produced in the world today are built on his innovation.
