Dear Handball Friends, For the 4th time after 2002, 2010 and 2011 Qatar will host the IHF Super Globe, the top ranked tournament for club teams in the world of handball. Eight teams from all five continents will compete for the trophies at a Super Globe. Qatar showed their strength and perfection in organizing such a major event in 2010 and 2011 when all participating teams and officials agreed on the highest international standard the Qatar Handball Association and the club Al-Sadd have reached. I am sure that we will experience the great and hearty hospitality and the outstanding atmosphere in this handball-loving country again. I hope these title contests will give a strong impulse to club handball in Qatar which could be to the benefit of the national team and the young hopefuls too.
